  • Description:  This evergreen perennial is not a palm but a succulent with an attractive short and thick stem or caudex for storing water. A green rosette of strap-like leaves emerges from the head like a fountain bearing panicles of small white flowers .
  • Grow best:  Easy to care for. In full sun to light shade, in a proper soil mix which is well-draining and must never be over-watered or mudded to prevent attacks from bugs and insects. Leaves need to be trimmed for an untangled appearance.
